It opened our eyes about Mardi Gras. We learned so much about the Kings and Queens, viewed multiple costumes, and just over all learned more about what it means. I definitely recommend checking this museum out if you want to learn more about Mardi Gras in the Biloxi area. The Coastal Mississippi Mardi Gras Museum highlights the 300+ year history of the celebration of Mardi Gras on the Gulf Coast focusing on the royalty, krewes, and the people who have made Mardi Gras a magical time of year. On display are costumes, photographs and memorabilia of carnival celebrations along the coast.
