Mardi Gras on the Sabine is happening on Friday, Feb 21, 2025 at 5:00pm at the venue Riverside Pavilion in Orange, TX Cold rain didn’t stop the festivities during last week’s Krewe of Krewes Parade, hosted by the Greater Orange Chamber of Commerce. The 2025 event made its way through downtown Orange where riders in colorful floats tossed beads, trinkets and Mardi Gras throws to the crowd Feb. 22 The Krewe of Service organizes volunteers who donate time and skills to staff Mardi Gras Southeast Texas. In order to volunteer, please select the position and shift you wish to volunteer for through the link below. Volunteer shifts are fast paced and requires volunteers to be standing the entire four hour shift. Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce President Ida Schossow said there are almost 500 people in the krewe, which helped make it a success. “The floats were packed,” she said.
