The 2025 Mardi Gras Grand Parade will be held in Soulard on Saturday, March 1, 2025. This large neighborhood festival requires multiple street closures to ensure the safety of the residents and visitors. 2025 New Orleans Mardi Gras is less than two weeks away, Several roads will close during the parades and parking can be a hassle. Here is a guide for beginners and experts alike. Barricades and Street Closures. Barricades will be placed along the parade route starting Thursday, February 20, 2025, and will remain until after the parade on Saturday, February 22, 2025. They will be repositioned on Thursday, February 27, 2025, and remain in place until the final parade on Mardi Gras Day, Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
