Despite the fact that Mayor Truong proposing and passing an ordinance to the city council, amending city code to provide with additional requirements and fees for hosting a Mardi Gras parade, the Krewe of MCCA worked with the City of Bogalusa administration and police department to ensure that the parade scheduled for March 1, 2025 was compliant.
