Downtown Shreveport; 3:30 p.m. Parade starts at the corner of Lake Street and Clyde Fant Parkway, then heads south down Clyde Fant Parkway to Shreveport-Barksdale Highway. From there, the parade goes west until it makes a left on E Kings Highway. The parade ends at the corner of E Kings Highway and E Preston Street. A whole lotta Mardi Gras in Shreveport-Bossier! Here's a list of upcoming parades and their locations. The Krewe of Harambee parade is Monday, and it will roll through the streets of downtown Shreveport, beginning at 1 p.m. This year's parade will feature the Southern University Marching Band. The Krewe of Centaur Parade rolls Feb. 22 at 3:30 p.m. along Shreveport's traditional parade route beginning on Clyde Fant Parkway and ending at the duck pond on E. Kings Highway. Krewe of Gemini held its first parade in the Shreveport-Bossier area in 1990. The nonprofit, volunteer organization is home to one of the biggest Mardi Gras parades in the area. The krewe also has a Mardi Gras museum filled with memorabilia highlighting the history of Mardi Gras in north Louisiana.
