The association will put on the Bayou Mardi Gras Parade to introduce the festive season to the new year, and bring along visitors from across Acadiana to enjoy the kickoff to one of the Teche The Bayou Mardi Gras Parade, a family-style Mardi Gras celebration, rolled through historic Main Street in New Iberia on Feb. 3. We will be closing South College Rd at East Hwy 90, Frontage Rd to South College Rd, Patoutville Rd (Hwy 85), and Olivier Rd on March 2, 2025, from 12 PM to 4 PM for the Mardi Gras Parade.
