A group of my girlfriends and I are traveling down to NOLA for our first Mardi Gras.We are staying at Hotel Mazarin in the French Quarter off of Bourbon St. We were thinking of purchasing grandstand tickets along St Charles Ave & Poydras St for Fat Tuesday (Rex & Zulu). I was waiting to reply after some Mardi Gras experts jumped in. I only lived here for 2 Mardi Gras' and only had a little experience before that. I just returned from Mardi Gras and had purchased 2 tickets from Mardi Gras Grandstand Parade tickets ( prior to our arrival. Their website says "you will have access to restrooms and plenty of food to purchase nearby". Bacchus Bash: A big all-day Mardi Gras block party on Super Sunday (the Sunday before Mardi Gras) featuring live music, DJs, and VIP open bar ticket options.
