Monday, Feb. 17; Downtown Shreveport; 1 p.m. The lineup will start at the corner of Milam and Common streets. The parade will then head west to Hope Street, then east on Milam, make a left on Edwards, turn onto Texas and go through downtown Shreveport. When is Mardi Gras 2025? This year, Mardi Gras, which translates from French to "Fat Tuesday," is on March 4. Ash Wednesday is on March 5, the day marking the start of the 40-day Lenten season Youngsville Mardi Gras Parade. The Krewe of Lafitte Illuminated Parade takes place Friday, Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m. and the Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras Parade is Saturday, March 1 at 2 p.m. There are several Mardi Gras parades set to roll in and around Baton Rouge this year!
