Donaldsonville and Gonzales will celebrate Mardi Gras this year with parades through the two Ascension Parish cities. The season also includes local events to mark the Mardi Gras season. The Krewe of Ascension Mambo parade will begin at 2 p.m. Feb. 22, the organization has announced.
