The event will feature live music, a vendor’s village, and a Youngsville Mardi Gras Parade. March 1 at 11 a.m. Youngsville. Queen Evangeline’s Parade. March 3 at 6 p.m. Downtown Lafayette to Cajun Field. King Gabriel’s Parade. March 4 at 10 a.m. Downtown Lafayette to Cajun Field. Lafayette Mardi Gras Festival Parade. Friday, Feb. 21 Downtown Baton Rouge Here’s the Baton Rouge area Mardi Gras parade schedule for 2025. Saturday, Feb. 15. Krewe of Oshun: Noon parade and 2 p.m. festival in Scotlandville. With origins tracing back to Medieval Europe, Mardi Gras marks a time of feasting and celebration between January 6, the Epiphany (3 Kings Day) and Fat Tuesday or Mardi Gras Day, the day before Ash Wednesday, beginning the season of Lent. West Baton Rouge usually hosts family-friendly celebrations and parades that we will plan to throw again soon! Attendees can expect to catch themed throws, including the Krewe of Artemis’ signature high-heeled shoe, footballs, light-up tambourines, stuffed animals, float beads and lighted throws. The Krewe of Artemis will start at It's time for the Mid City Gras Parade of 2025! The Parade will be rolling on Sunday, February 23rd , 2025 at 1 p.m. down North Blvd. We roll straight down North Boulevard, beginning at 19th street and ending at Baton Rouge Community College. Our parade typically lasts between 45 minutes - 1 hour, and you will see krewes of all kinds: music, dance, performance, floats, walkers, skaters
