The 42nd Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras parade is returning to Monroe-West Monroe on Saturday, February 15, 2025. The parade starts at 6 p.m. and starts at 1118 Natchitoches Street in West Monroe and ends at Oliver Road in Monroe. Earlier that Saturday morning, the Pet Parade on Antique Alley in downtown WEST MONROE, La. (KTVE/KARD) — On Saturday, Feb 3, 2024, the 17th Annual Krewe of Paws Mardi Gras Parade will be in downtown West Monroe. Festivities begin at 11 a.m., which will feature cost July of 2018, PAWS was recognized by the Better Business Bureau, serving Northeast and Central Louisiana and the Ark-LA-Tex, with the Torch Award for Non-Profits. The annual Krewe of PAWS Mardi Gras Pet Parade fundraiser began in 2007 where scenic Downtown West Monroe hosts the family and pet friendly Parade. There are several Mardi Gras activities happening in Monroe and West Monroe this Mardi Gras season. There will be two parades that will travel through both cities - Krewe de Riviere on Saturday, February 8 and Krewe of Janus on Saturday, February 15.
