As we enter Mardi Gras season, I would like to invite you, your family, and your friends to come experience Mardi Gras in Slidell. Grab your lawn chairs, ice chests, and king cakes, and head out to the parade route to enjoy all the parades rolling through Slidell: Friday, Feb. 14 • 6:30 p.m. Krewe of Titans. Saturday, Feb. 15 • 12:00 p.m. The Mystic Krewe of Titans is a parade that takes place in Slidell, Louisiana. The krewe is composed of 125 men. Founded in 2009 by a group of Mardi Gras veterans A rainy Sunday pushed six regional Mardi Gras parades later in the schedule. Here are times and maps for Femme Fatale, Carrollton, King Arthur, Barkus, Atlas and Dionysus. The Krewe of Mona Lisa and MoonPie, founded in 1984 by artists Charlotte Lowry Collins and Pat Hart along with their husbands, was created to add a creative twist to Slidell’s Mardi Gras celebrations. Sometimes floats float! The Krewe of Bilge is a Mardi Gras boat parade in Slidell, Louisiana. For the last 40 years, Bilge has thrown beads, cups and other Carnival treasures to parade goers from the middle of Slidell waterways. Slidell's Mardi Gras parades begin rolling this weekend!
