The New Orleans Halfmoons Women’s Rugby team will be hosting their annual “Throw Me Something, Rugger!” Mardi Gras Tournament on February 22, 2025. The tournament is 15’s rugby and is open to women, men, and youth. Motley teams are allowed if all rostered players are registered with USA Rugby. The New Orleans Womxn’s Rugby Club is one of the oldest women’s rugby clubs in the country and has fielded a team since 1978. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that focuses on inclusivity building our community, and growing rugby for womxn. We began hosting our celebrated Mardi Gras Tournament in 1980.
