2025 Mardi Gras Parade Schedule in Acadiana. Friday, Feb. 28 – Tuesday, March 4 – Le Festival de Mardi Gras à Lafayette – Cajun Field, Lafayette.Carnival rides and games, live music, food Mardi Gras February 21-22, 28 - March 4, 2025. South Louisiana is home to the greatest free party on earth, a colorful celebration known as Mardi Gras. They will be repositioned on Thursday, February 27, 2025, and remain in place until the final parade on Mardi Gras Day, Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Streets along and around the parade route will be closed one hour before each parade begins. Citizens should avoid these areas to minimize traffic congestion. Parade Schedule The Lafayette Police Department is preparing for Mardi Gras parade season with street closures and safety measures in place.
