Mardi Gras Casino: There is no smoking in the casino unless seated and playing; it is not allowed at the casino bar or in the entire area when closed. Smoking is not permitted in the section of the casino designated as non-smoking at any time. Mardi Gras Smoking Areas. Interior: Mardi Gras Casino - In order to be allowed to smoke in the casino you must be playing at a designated machine or table during the casino's open hours (smoking is not allowed at any tables or games when the casino is closed). We had a balcony cabin on deck 15 directly above the area. We got an occasional whiff of smoke smell even up there. The area was quite lively both day and night. Smoking Areas On Cruise Ships.
