We’re back! The 2025 Festival returns 14 February – 2 March 2025. It’s time! We’re back world, the iconic Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival is set for 14 February to 2 March 2025. Celebrating 47 years in 2025, get ready for 17 days of unforgettable moments, international performers, parties, theatre, community events and more. Sydney is expected to be buzzing for one of the biggest nights in the city's social calendar today as thousands are anticipated to march in the 47th annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade. When: Saturday, March 1, 6:45pm to 11pm Where: Oxford St, Flinders St and Anzac Parade, Sydney Tickets: free, with tickets to special parade viewing areas, more info (some sold out) The Sydney Gay And Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade is now in its 47th year and is the jewel in the crown of the two-week Mardi Gras festival. After 16 days of performances, parties and events, the 2025 Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival will culminate in its annual parade this Saturday night – setting the streets of the CBD alive with colour and celebrations. There are four main ticketed viewing areas for the ultimate experience during the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras parade. Taylor Square Takeover (presented by American Express) The official dates for the Sydney Mardi Gras 2025 festival season will be February 14, 2025, to Sunday, March 2, 2025 The Mardi Gras season kicks off with Fair Day, which will be held on Sunday, February 16.
