The Granite City Mardi Gras event begins at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 1 at 29th & State Street. Organizers say it will “bring Bourbon Street to you!” Enjoy live music, kids activities and shop local vendors. The Parade is followed by an after party in Civic Park at 2 p.m. Cocktail Carnival. The parade begins at Busch Stadium at 11am and runs south on Broadway through Soulard to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. Over 10,000,000 strands of beads will be thrown from nearly 100 floats along the parade route. Saturday, March 1, 2025 Parade Starts: 11:00 am This event is the crown jewel of the Soulard Mardi Gras season and the biggest parade outside of the Big Easy The Soulard Mardi Gras in St. Louis is one of the largest and most vibrant Mardi Gras celebrations in the United States, second only to New Orleans. The 2025 season promises weeks of lively parades, unique themed events, pet-friendly gatherings, and plenty of food and drink, drawing thousands to St. Louis’s historic Soulard neighborhood. The Bud Light Party Tent and the Blues Alumni Experience are two of the most enjoyable ways to experience the Bud Light Grand Parade during Mardi Gras in St. Louis. Both include an open bar with beer and spirits, a lunch buffet and beads in a climate-controlled tent in close proximity to the parade route. The 2025 Mardi Gras Grand Parade will be held in Soulard on Saturday, March 1, 2025. This large neighborhood festival requires multiple street closures to ensure the safety of the residents and visitors. Purina Pet Parade (February 23, 2025) The Purina Pet Parade is a much-loved highlight of the St. Louis Mardi Gras celebrations. The Purina Pet Parade, part of St. Louis Mardi Gras, begins at 1 pm from 12th Street and Allen Avenue, with on-site registration starting at 10 am.
