The Krewe of OAK’s 37th Mid-Summer Mardi Gras will roll Uptown on Saturday, August 26th. The parade will start in front of 8316 Oak Street at 7 p.m. Music and a block party on the 8400 block of Routes Affected #12 – St. Charles Service Adjustments During the parade, the streetcar itself will not travel between the Riverbend (at St. Charles and S. Carrollton Ave.) and the Uptown end of the line at S. Carrollton Ave. & S. Claiborne Ave. Service between those points will instead be provided by shuttle operating along the route. Parade Route This Year the Parade will Start in the 8300 Block of Oak Street, where the Krewe of Oak Will Hearald the Krewes as they pass.
