The Twin Cities’ Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras parade will celebrate its 42nd year of Mardi Gras tradition and flavor in the Twin Cities in 2025. The Twin Cities' Krewe of Janus Parade has entertained revelers since 1984 who eagerly gather along the 3.8-mile route through West Monroe and Monroe. The KOJ Parade is Northeast Louisiana’s oldest and most recognized Mardi Gras Parade. The parade includes nearly 50 units featuring several High School bands! The Parade has been recognized as You can run a portion of the parade route and back through downtown West Monroe in your Mardi Gras-themed outfits for this year’s Jester Jog 5K! The crowds will already be gathered for the parade, so many will cheer on our race participants as they run past. Powder Mardi Gras Colors will be thrown throughout the race in celebration. The Twin Cities Krewe de Riviere is a non-profit organization dedicated to the historical and traditional concepts of a Mardi Gras parade as an avenue for individual creative expression. The Twin Cities Krewe de Riviere encourages the local citizens, businesses, and neighboring communities to become involved in the activities as they contribute to the culture and heritage of Northeast Louisiana. The Krewe of Janus parade makes its way to Monroe-West Monroe on February 3rd at 6 pm. Start your day by attending the Children’s Mardi Gras Parade at 10 am, followed by the Krewe of Paws Mardi Gras Pet Parade at 1 pm, and Jester Jog at 2:30 pm! Rock out with your friends with this year’s parade theme - Jammin’ with Janus. The 42nd Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras parade is returning to Monroe-West Monroe on Saturday, February 15, 2025. The parade starts at 6 p.m. and starts at 1118 Natchitoches Street in West Monroe and ends at Oliver Road in Monroe. Earlier that Saturday morning, the Pet Parade on Antique Alley in downtown 10:00 AM - Krewe of Janus Children's Mardi Gras Parade. The cutest Mardi Gras parade is rolling at Pecanland Mall's Center Court. This free event kicks off the day's celebrations with the cutest mini-Mardi Gras floats and even cuter riders.
