Thursday NEW ORLEANS - In partnership with the Parks & Parkways Department, the New Orleans City Council is reminding parade-goers of enforcement measures that will be implemented on the route. Although the Council granted discretion to the NOPD in regards to Mardi Gras enforcement, the law has not been suspended and is in full effect.
