As we gear up for the 2025 Mardi Gras season, it’s hard to believe that it’s already been 14 incredible years since the inception of the Pensacola Mardi Gras Kick-Off Celebration. What started as a humble idea has blossomed into one of the most anticipated events on Pensacola’s social calendar, and we couldn’t be prouder of how far we Pensacola’s Mardi Gras celebrates multiple cultures and customs with a unique local flair that only Pensacola, Florida can offer. Each year, Pensacola’s Mardi Gras draws in over 100,000 people for its main event, the Pensacola Grand Mardi Gras Parade, which takes place in downtown Pensacola on the Saturday before Fat Tuesday. The 2025 Pensacola Mardi Gras Kick Off Celebration will start the 2025 Pensacola Mardi Gras Season presented by Publix. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and festivities will kick off inside Seville Quarter at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday Jan. 4th. Floats will be parked along Palafox and Jefferson Streets. The Town Crier will announce and individual proclamation for each participating Krewe.
