Planning a cruise on Carnival Mardi Gras? This guide showcases all the best dining options onboard, from casual eateries to upscale specialty restaurants. Launched in 2021, Mardi Gras is an innovative Excel-class ship featuring six themed zones and exciting attractions like BOLT, the first roller coaster at sea. Carnival Cruise Line's new ship, Mardi Gras, is absolutely chock-full of dining venues, many included and some with an up-charge. PALM RESTAURANT (Main Dining Room) The Palm Restaurant, the ship’s primary dining venue, can be found on Decks 6 and 7, and its name comes from those decks.
