The Krewe of Pomona is open for membership. Interested in becoming a part of Ruston's first Mardi Gras Krewe? Click the link below. Membership for the 2025-2026 season is now open. New memberships are limited and are granted on a first come first serve basis. The Krewe is responsible for creating floats, holding a parade, and organizing a ball for members. Krewe of Pomona members hope to create a family-friendly Mardi Gras atmosphere to help make Ruston the premier location for Mardi Gras in north Louisiana. “Having a Krewe in Ruston is so special and so important,” Jesse said. Mardi Gras season is here, and there’s no better way to celebrate than by becoming a member of Ruston’s own Krewe of Pomona. With membership now open, the Krewe is gearing up for another ball of creativity, connection, and community spirit. Gabrielle Woodard, Marketing and Membership Committee Chair shared what makes this Krewe truly special: The Krewe of Pomona was established in 2022 by a group of friends looking to revamp the Mardi Gras scene in Ruston.
