FEB. 28 The Mardi Gras main event, the Grand Parade, starts at 11 a.m. the Stadium Station will be your closest stop to the parade route. From there, it's about a two-mile walk to the heart of Soulard The krewes in the parade get rolling near Busch Stadium at 11 a.m. The parade winds through Downtown South and Soulard, all the way to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. The Soulard Mardi Gras is located about a mile south on 7 th Street. Join other attendees on 7 th Street or take advantage of Ballpark Village’s free Mardi Gras shuttle. MetroBus: Grab a ride on the #30 Arsenal or #73 Carondelet MetroBus routes, which both serve stops near Soulard. Pick up on Shenandoah (eastbound). Exit The highlight of Soulard’s Mardi Gras season, this parade is second only to New Orleans in size and spirit. Starting near Busch Stadium, the energy picks up at Chouteau, where lively crowds pack the streets to cheer on the krewes. The route weaves through Downtown South and Soulard, ending at the le Attracting tens of thousands of merrymakers, the Bud Light Grand Parade is the crown jewel of the Soulard Mardi Gras season – and the largest parade outside of the Big Easy. Approximately 130 Krewes spend months building their floats, hoping to win prizes as well as bragging rights at the parade. The parade route this year runs from Busch Stadium to the Anheuser-Busch Brewery, and it all starts at 11 a.m. No bottles, cans, backpacks or coolers are allowed at Mardi Gras in Soulard The 46th Mardi Gras weekend kicks off in St. Louis with the Mayor’s Ball, followed by the Bud Light Grand Parade, and concludes with outdoor sales and events in the Soulard neighborhood. Featuring LIVE music ALL DAY - rock out with Danger Party and DJs in every venue to get the pardi going.
