LOUIS — Mardi Gras celebrations begin Friday, culminating in a Fat Tuesday party next week. From Soulard to Granite City, here’s where you can join the party in the St. Louis area. The Mayor’s Mardi Gras Ball will take place Friday, Feb. 28, at Anheuser-Busch Tour Center beginning at 7 p.m The highlight of Soulard’s Mardi Gras season, this parade is second only to New Orleans in size and spirit. Starting near Busch Stadium, the energy picks up at Chouteau, where lively crowds pack the streets to cheer on the krewes.
