We’re back! The 2025 Festival returns 14 February – 2 March 2025. It’s time! We’re back world, the iconic Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival is set for 14 February to 2 March 2025. Celebrating 47 years in 2025, get ready for 17 days of unforgettable moments, international performers, parties, theatre, community events and more. The iconic Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Festival will return to Sydney from 14 February – 2 March 2025, ready to bedazzle the emerald city with a celebration of pride and diversity. FREE TO BE will be the central theme for 2025 festivities. As Australia's largest LGBTQIA+ celebration, the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras brings a burst of colour and creativity to the city each year. Running from 14 February to 2 March 2025, the blockbuster program this year includes more than 100 community events, dance parties, theatre and music, all taking place over 17 glorious summer days. The official dates for the Sydney Mardi Gras 2025 festival season will be February 14, 2025, to Sunday, March 2, 2025 The Mardi Gras season kicks off with Fair Day, which will be held on Sunday, February 16. The parade and official after-party are confirmed to be on Saturday, March 1. Sydney Mardi Gras 2025 is here!
