The 51st annual Mardi Gras Drill meet will occur on February 28, 2025! Every year, Tulane's NROTC Battalion hosts one of the largest drill meets in the nation. The 2025 Mardi Gras Guest Registration Form is now closed. During Mardi Gras, Tulane University residents are extended the privilege to host one guest per resident. If their guest is not a Tulane student they must register their guest with Housing & Residence Life prior to their guest arriving The Tulane NROTC Drill Team teaches drill as a means to instill good order, discipline, and attention to detail in young midshipmen. Every semester the Tulane drill team participates in the Mardi Gras Drill Meet and plans to participate in several Drill Meets at other Universities in the coming year.
