The Mardi Gras festivities extend to CityWalk with specially themed food and drink offerings in a number of venues. Be sure to check out The After Party and Fat Tuesday ® at Pat O’Brien’s ®. This year at Universal Mardi Gras the music’s louder, the celebration’s wilder, the food’s spicier and the party’s bigger than ever. Cursed Coconut Club. Mardi Gras has taken over the Red Coconut Club and transformed it into the Cursed Coconut Club. The themed nightclub & lounge features Mardi Gras decor, along with live music and specialty drinks. In addition, the Mardi Gras festivities extend to CityWalk with specially-themed food and drink offerings in several venues. A Mardi Gras overlay has returned to the CityWalk venue, transforming the Red Coconut Club into the Cursed Coconut Club for the season. 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of Universal’s Mardi Gras celebration, and the Cursed Coconut Club includes homages to previous Mardi Gras events. In fact, the 2023 Universal Mardi Gras Celebration paved the way for a new Tribute Store location. Previously located in New York, this season’s shop can be found in the star-studded Hollywood section of Universal Studios Florida. The Tribute Store now alternates between these two spots. For Universal Mardi Gras 2025, the Tribute Store takes 2025’s Universal’s Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval will run daily from February 1 through March 30, 2025. This year’s Mardi Gras parade theme will celebrate 30 years of the event, with six all-new floats inspired by some of the most famous Krewes in New Orleans. The Red Coconut Club has once again been transformed for the Mardi Gras season into the Cursed Coconut Club. Available on select nights from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM and until 12:00 AM on Sundays, guests visiting Cursed Coconut Club can marvel at the themed decor and enjoy bewitching beverages such as the Bayou Banshee or New Orleans’ Sazerac. Universal Orlando’s hotels are joining the celebration with Mardi Gras-themed food and drinks, like Bourbon Street Beignets at Hard Rock Hotel and Bayou Shrimp and Grits at Aventura Hotel. Hotel guests can also enjoy Early Park Admission and complimentary transportation to Universal Studios Florida. Universal’s Mardi Gras is an international celebration of carnival, with a focus on New Orleans’ famous Mardi Gras. The party started in 1996 with a parade furnished by the New Orleans fabrication firm Kern Studios.
