The Mardi Gras Tribute Store has officially opened at Universal Studios Florida as Universal Orlando gears up for 2025’s Universal’s Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval. The highly themed store takes guests to the Legends of the Bayou, a museum inspired by New Orleans’s legends and other popular creatures of cryptozoology. The Mardi Gras Tribute Store has officially opened at Universal Studios Florida as Universal Orlando gears up for 2024’s Universal’s Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval. The highly-themed store takes guests on a haunted river cruise through the Mississippi complete with beads, treats and a gator or two. Today marks the first day of the 2025 Universal Mardi Gras event at Universal Studios Florida, and we’re on the ground to provide a look at this year’s event. The second room finds guests thrust into the ballroom of the P.S. Songbird, now decrepit and run down, representing the downfall of the ship. Just look for the large Tribute Store sign! Universal’s Mardi Gras Tribute Store will be open for the duration of the Mardi Gras: International Flavors of Carnaval event, running through Mardi Gras Tribute Store. Located in the Hollywood area of Universal Studios Florida, The Mardi Gras Tribute Store offers a highly-themed shopping experience that features all-new Mardi Gras merchandise collections, as well as themed treats. This year’s store takes guests through the Legends of the Bayou Museum & Gift Shop. In fact, the 2023 Universal Mardi Gras Celebration paved the way for a new Tribute Store location. Previously located in New York, this season’s shop can be found in the star-studded Hollywood section of Universal Studios Florida. The Tribute Store now alternates between these two spots.
