Washington Mardi Gras 2025 Schedule. *PLEASE NOTE THIS IMPORTANT CHANGE FOR 2025: Once you have selected a costume, you will receive a ticket to go pick up a KREWE BAG. Krewe Bag pick up is in the Gunston West room, next door to the Costume Room. Saturday, March 1st, 2025. Mardi Gras is about music, parades, picnics, floats and so much excitement. It's one big holiday in New Orleans and we hope to bring a taste of that to you here in D.C.! Your ticket includes open bar, delicious food from the team at Dauphine's, live entertainment, and so much more! Mardi Gras at The Wharf is Washington DC's biggest Mardi Gras parade. The event on March 1, 2025 will feature floats, beads, fireworks, and live music.
