The 2025 Mardi Gras season is just beginning, and Coastal Mississippi is packed full of fun parades and events perfect for incoming visitors. Come along with us as we celebrate the Carnival season! March 1 • Noon — Krewe of Diamondhead Mardi Gras parade, Diamondhead • Noon — Annual Jackson County Carnival Association Parade, Pascagoula • Noon — Second Liners Mardi Gras Club parade, Downtown Biloxi The 2025 Mardi Gras season is officially under way in Hancock County — the Krewe of Nereids and the Krewe of Kids are both scheduled to parade this weekend. The Krewe of Nereids will roll in Bay St. Louis and Waveland this Sunday, Feb. 23, beginning at noon. The Krewe of Kids in Bay St. Louis will Krewe of Nereids Mardi Gras Parade Start at Hwy 603 & 90 10AM New line up will be on Hwy 603 & 90, traveling east on 90, U-turn at the BSL Post Office, disbanding at Waveland Avenue. The all-woman Krewe of Nereids claims the title of the oldest women’s Mardi Gras krewe on our coast, and this year’s parade marks Nereids’ 57th anniversary. The rescheduled parade will follow the old route. Starting line up on Hwy 603 and traveling east on Hwy 90 and making a loop-turn around at the BSL Post Office to continue back west on Hwy 90 with ending at the Waveland Avenue usual disbanding area.
