The Twin Cities' Krewe of Janus Parade has entertained revelers since 1984 who eagerly gather along the 3.8-mile route through West Monroe and Monroe. The KOJ Parade is Northeast Louisiana’s oldest and most recognized Mardi Gras Parade. The parade includes nearly 50 units featuring several High School bands! The first 250 finishers will receive specialty beads, a drink token from Flying Heart Brewing & Pub-West Monroe, and a silicone Mardi Gras cup. The race begins at 2:30 PM at the corner of Wood and Commerce Street. Now it’s time for the main event – The Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras Parade at 6 PM. The Parade has been recognized as The 42nd Krewe of Janus Mardi Gras parade is returning to Monroe-West Monroe on Saturday, February 15, 2025. The parade starts at 6 p.m. and starts at 1118 Natchitoches Street in West Monroe and ends at Oliver Road in Monroe. Earlier that Saturday morning, the Pet Parade on Antique Alley in downtown The Krewe of Janus parade makes its way to Monroe-West Monroe on February 3rd at 6 pm. Start your day by attending the Children’s Mardi Gras Parade at 10 am, followed by the Krewe of Paws Mardi Gras Pet Parade at 1 pm, and Jester Jog at 2:30 pm! The traditional Mardi Gras parade is set to feature marching bands, floats and costumes. The parade starts at 1118 Natchitoches Street, West Monroe and ends at Oliver Road, Monroe. Run the West Monroe Mardi Gras Parade Route and Downtown West Monroe on a double loop route to celebrate with the colors of Mardi Gras!
