DOTHAN, Ala. — The City of Dothan will celebrate Mardi Gras with its 11th annual Mardi Gras Krew of Kolosse parade downtown. The parade will be on Saturday, February 10th, at 3 p.m. and last through the evening. With entertainment zones throughout the parade route, the fun will be never-ending. Mardi Gras, French for Fat Tuesday, originated in Mobile, Alabama. It is a celebration that happens before the fasting season of Lent.
