The official dates for the Sydney Mardi Gras 2025 festival season will be February 14, 2025, to Sunday, March 2, 2025 The Mardi Gras season kicks off with Fair Day, which will be held on Sunday, February 16. The parade and official after-party are confirmed to be on Saturday, March 1. 3 March 2025. Over the weekend, thousands came together to celebrate pride at the 47th edition of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade. What began as a protest for LGBTQIA+ rights continues as an iconic pillar in the community as a platform for advocacy, connection, visibility, and celebration. More than a million people are expected to participate in Sydney WorldPride and the festival will feature much-loved events including Fair Day, pool parties, the world-famous Mardi Gras Parade coming home to Oxford Street and the iconic Mardi Gras Party, returning for the first time since 2020. The event will also take place on the 45th Mardi Gras Paradiso Pool Party - February 20 The bash will be held Ivy Pool Club, where ticketholders will get the chance to dance the night away to some of the country's biggest musical acts.
