Camp Ocean. The little ones can enjoy the best parts of summer camp, year-round aboard their Carnival cruise. At Camp Ocean kids will have a blast in supervised, age-based groups and give each a cool marine-life label: Penguins (2 to 5 years), Stingrays (6 to 8 years) and Sharks (9 to 11 years). Camp Ocean welcomes youngsters in with light blue and white underwater colored spaces and friendly, experienced staff, each with education or childcare experience. Three age-related categories each have their own identity: children ages 2-5 will be dubbed Penguins ®, with those ages 6-8 called Sting Rays ® while 9-11 year olds will be Sharks ®. Is There a Cost for Camp Ocean? Camp Ocean is included in the overall cost of the cruise (aka FREE!) – fees only apply after 10 p.m. when the Night Owls programming begins, which is an additional $6.75 per hour per child, plus a 15% gratuity per child. Night Owls runs from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. each night. Camp Ocean is Carnival’s free, all-day, drop-off kids' camp. On select nights, a late-night party for 2- to 11-year-olds, called Owl Jams, might take place, with themes such as a Mardi Gras Camp Ocean is the new club for passengers aged 2-11 years. Here children can get to know the fascinating underwater world with fun and games in age-appropriate groups: „Penguins“ for children aged 2-5 years, „Sting Rays“ for children aged 6-8 years and „Sharks“ for children aged 9-11 years. The children can paint or do handicrafts, play games, listen to music, take part in a Camp Ocean is the perfect place for kids to have a blast while on your Carnival ship. By pre-registering, children and teens (6 months to 17 years of age) are able to participate in their respective youth programs once they arrive on board. Registering in no way obligates them to participate in any of the activities. The smallest Carnival ship (in terms of length) measures 855 feet (261 meters) from end to end. Children under the age of 2 are welcome to join Camp Ocean programming and Night Owls during specific times. Hours may vary due to cruise itineraries. Once on board, activity schedules for Camp Ocean are available via the HUB App as well as drop off times for children under 2. During some cruises, Camp Ocean capacity may be limited. Camp Ocean Camp and Program for Circle "C" What does the C in Circle “C ® ” stand for? Well how about “cruise,” “chill” and “connect”? (Just to name a few, of course.) It’s the onboard spot where teens ages 12 to 14 go to hang out, meet new friends, and enjoy some pretty awesome activities.
