Mardi Gras Casino: There is no smoking in the casino unless seated and playing; it is not allowed at the casino bar or in the entire area when closed. Smoking is not permitted in the section of the casino designated as non-smoking at any time. Carnival Cruise Line now offers a total of 10 non-smoking casinos across its fleet of 27 ships, but guests do need to be aware of smoking considerations onboard even if the casino is a designated Mardi Gras Smoking Areas. Interior: Mardi Gras Casino - In order to be allowed to smoke in the casino you must be playing at a designated machine or table during the casino's open hours (smoking is not allowed at any tables or games when the casino is closed). BTW, the Mardi Gras casino is an enclosed area, there are self closing automatic doors at most entrances and exits. Those doors that weren't auto were just hinged, but they still managed to keep most smoke inside the casino and not drift into adjacent areas.. No, Mardi Gras has one casino with a smoking side and a nonsmoking side. You're still going to smell some smoke in the nonsmoking side.
