The official policy for Cucina del Capitano and ChiBang for Mardi Gras and Celebration is currently that the first time at either restaurant is free, each additional time would be $8 a person. (For Jubilee, there is no up charge for the inaugural season). Mardi Gras Day will vary greatly for locals. Some do big parades, some do neighborhood things and some do neighborhood parades that end up in the 1/4. But it's the last day of festivities that begin every year on January 6th. For me, Mardi Gras Day is about the costumes, rolling into the 1/4 with the neighborhood. If you're big on costuming Im going on Mardi Gras next February. Really looking forward to it.
