Mardi Gras Casino: There is no smoking in the casino unless seated and playing; it is not allowed at the casino bar or in the entire area when closed. Smoking is not permitted in the section of the casino designated as non-smoking at any time. Carnival Cruise Line now offers a total of 10 non-smoking casinos across its fleet of 27 ships, but guests do need to be aware of smoking considerations onboard even if the casino is a designated Heald indicated that if these work, they may be added to other ships in the future as well. As for the newest ship, the Mardi Gras, Heald has been mum on the smoking/casino situation. Still, with all the changes Carnival has been making, maybe we’ll see physically separated smoking/non-smoking casinos or some mega-filtration.
