Southwest DC’s Wharf will bring back its annual Mardi Gras parade and day-long party, complete with stilt walkers, a brass band performance on the pier, and fireworks right after sundown. Mardi Gras at The Wharf is a free event, 3–7 p.m. on March 1, rain or shine. The celebration takes place on District Pier at The Wharf located at 101 District Square SW, Washington, DC 20024.
