Mardi Gras at The Wharf is Washington DC's biggest Mardi Gras parade. The event on March 1, 2025 will feature floats, beads, fireworks, and live music. Southwest DC’s Wharf will bring back its annual Mardi Gras parade and day-long party, complete with stilt walkers, a brass band performance on the pier, and fireworks right after sundown. Before Mardi Gras: St. Vincent Wine kicks off celebrations with a Lundi Gras bash on Monday, March 3, starting at 5 p.m. A $20 ticket includes a welcome Hurricane, raffle entry, Mardi Gras beads, and enjoying live music by jazz band Joe Brotherton Trio. NOLA-inspired dishes will also be on the menu. Live music, hurricane cocktails and parades are on the way to the D.C. region as the public prepares to let the good times roll in celebration of Mardi Gras.
