Southwest DC’s Wharf will bring back its annual Mardi Gras parade and day-long party, complete with stilt walkers, a brass band performance on the pier, and fireworks right after sundown. Before Mardi Gras: St. Vincent Wine kicks off celebrations with a Lundi Gras bash on Monday, March 3, starting at 5 p.m. A $20 ticket includes a welcome Hurricane, raffle entry, Mardi Gras beads, and enjoying live music by jazz band Joe Brotherton Trio. NOLA-inspired dishes will also be on the menu.
