The location is so close to so many great things about New Orleans: Café Du Monde, The French Market, Bourbon Street, Frenchman Street and its wonderful Jazz!!! I've been to Nola many times and this was an excellent experience, with a lot of that thanks to Mardi Gras Manor. We absolutely loved this place! Mardi Gras Manor is a gated 11-unit property in the French quarter in New Orleans with a mix of 1-bedrooms, 2-bedrooms, and a studio. It is a historic property built in the French style (meaning it is separated from the street by a gate, the garden is in the front, and the living space is in the back) as opposed to the Spanish style architecture that (ironically) dominates the French Quarter Even loaned me her hat when we went on a Swamp tour. The french market is 2 short blocks away and also Frenchman's Street where all the best music is played. We were very sad to leave we had such a wonderful time. This was our first time to New Orleans. Great place, good food, great music and people are so friendly. Great location and a charming gated property with lovely outdoor sitting areas and a pool.
