The museum is interesting and trying on the costumes was enjoyable but my sister, daughter and I were not impressed with the presentation of the history behind Mardi Gras. The owner and staff were trying to be entertainers signing and making jokes, not worth the $15 ticket price. It was a quiet Sunday afternoon so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The host, I believe his name was Alan, gave us an informal presentation, explaining the history of Mardi Gras and telling us about the various Krewes. We got to see the gorgeous costumes, try on some and also see where the costumes were worked on.
