Mardi Gras parades The city looks forward to letting the good times roll in 2025. The parades by the mystic societies in Orange Beach roll at 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. on the Saturday before Fat Tuesday. In 2025, that day falls on Saturday, March 1st. In 2026, it's February 14th. Featuring the Mystic Order of Shiners, the oldest Mardi Gras parading order in Baldwin County, the parade has continued to grow each year. It begins at the intersection of Highway 59 and East Beach Boulevard (Highway 182) and travels along East Beach Boulevard to the Gulf State Park Pier Road. The parade will end at the intersection of Highway 161 and Perdido Beach Boulevard near the Publix shopping center. Begins at traffic light east of Phoenix West and ends at Hwy 161. The Orange Beach Parade started as a loose confederation of large and small groups that wanted to parade by the beach. The city of Orange Beach stepped in and took over the parade's planning.
