A little this. A little that. A whole lotta Mardi Gras in Shreveport-Bossier! Shreveport-Bossier hosts the most vibrant, family-friendly Mardi Gras celebrations in Louisiana! Whether you're catching colorful beads at a parade, swaying to the sounds of a lively second-line band, or sharing a slice of king cake with friends, every moment in Downtown Shreveport; 3:30 p.m. Parade starts at the corner of Lake Street and Clyde Fant Parkway, then heads south down Clyde Fant Parkway to Shreveport-Barksdale Highway. From there, the parade goes west until it makes a left on E Kings Highway. The parade ends at the corner of E Kings Highway and E Preston Street. Shreveport's Mardi Gras season is in full swing and it's time for the parades. Here's a list of upcoming parades and their locations. The Krewe of Harambee parade is Monday, and it will roll through the streets of downtown Shreveport, beginning at 1 p.m. This year's parade will feature the Southern University Marching Band.
