The Krewe of Nereids will start the parade at 10 a.m. for their 57th anniversary in Waveland. As the oldest Mardi Gras krewe on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, the annual parade draws a large Kingsland held its 31st annual Mardi Gras celebration featuring more than 200 vendors and a parade with more than 40 floats. Starting line up on Hwy 603 and traveling east on Hwy 90 and making a loop-turn around at the BSL Post Office to continue back west on Hwy 90 with ending at the Waveland Avenue usual disbanding area. This coming Sunday, February 12, 2023, is the 55th rolling of the Krewe of Nereids Mardi Gras Parade. The parade begins at 12 noon, starts on Highway 90 in Bay St. Louis, and continues to Waveland Avenue here in Waveland.
