With over 80 members, the ladies work year-round promoting the pillars of fun, friendship, fitness and philanthropy through community and charity events. The Krewe of Carrollton is the fourth oldest Carnival parading organization, behind Rex, Proteus, and Zulu. It was founded by a group of Oak Street businessmen in 1924 as "The Seventh District Carnival Club” and became the Krewe of Carrollton in 1947. The parade will travel up Severn to the intersection of Severn and 18th Street, where the parade will turn around and head south. At Veterans Memorial Boulevard, the parade will once more turn east. The parade will follow Veterans all the way to Bonnabel Boulevard, where the parade will turn north once again.
