Cucina Del Capitano on the Mardi Gras works differently than some of Carnival's older ships as on the Mardi Gras this is considered an alternative to the main dining room. Guests on Mardi Gras can dine one complimentary time in Cucina Del Capitano and then each additional visit costs extra ($8 per person at the time of writing). (For a limited time during the inaugural season on Mardi Gras, you’ll have your choice of complimentary dining at specialty restaurants Cucina del Capitano, Chibang! and Guy’s Pig & Anchor Carnival Cruise Line's new ship, Mardi Gras, is absolutely chock-full of dining venues, many included and some with an up-charge. If you’re dining at a sit-down specialty restaurant with Carnival Mardi Gras dining provides cruisers with a mouthwatering blend of exciting new dining options and perennial cruise line favorites.
