Mardi Gras World is open 7 days a week, from 9:00am to 5:30pm, with the first admission beginning at 9:00am and last admission at 4:30pm. The Germaine Cazenave Wells Mardi Gras Museum, named for successor and daughter of Count Arnaud, opened in the French Quarter restaurant on September 15, 1983. Wells reportedly reigned as queen of over twenty-two Mardi Gras balls from 1937 to 1968, more than any other women in the history of Carnival.
