Mardi Gras Parking and Transportation Parade Parking. To accommodate revelers from the Port City and beyond, the City of Mobile will open additional parking on parade days during the 2025 Mardi Gras season. Beginning Friday, February 14, the Mobile Alabama Cruise Terminal will be available for public parking on Mardi Gras parade days. On Mardi Gras parade days, the Mobile Cruise Terminal parking garage and the GulfQuest parking lot will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., according to the City of Mobile website. Effective Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, the City of Mobile will be activating the Alabama Department of Transportation property located at 257 S. Royal Street for Mardi Gras Parking. This additional parking lot will have the same hours of operation, parking rates and payment methods as the other Mardi Gras parking locations recently announced by the With Mardi Gras parades officially beginning Friday, Feb. 14, the City of Mobile has shared general guidance to help participants have fun and be safe during the festivities.
