For women, the dress code may ask for sundresses, skirts and blouses, dress shorts and capri pants are acceptable. Don’t wear sleeveless shirts (for men), cut-off jeans, T-shirts or gym shorts. As long as you’re on the ship for two nights or more, you’ll get to experience one. There’s one Cruise Elegant evening for any cruise from 2 days to 5 days, while cruises that are 6 days or longer have two Cruise Elegant evenings. As to their dress code requirements - the 1st is casual (with 1 dressy night), the 2nd is very casual, the 3rd is formal and 4th is totally a "freestyle" deal. I was impressed by the efforts people made on Elegant nights on our recent Mardi Gras cruise; unlike our cruises on Pride this year. Which ships is Bonsai Teppanyaki on? The Bonsai Teppanyaki venue is on the Carnival Celebration, Carnival Horizon, Carnival Panorama, Carnival Venezia, and Mardi Gras. The Carnival Jubilee and Carnival Firenze will also have Bonsai Teppanyaki when the ships debut for Carnival. Life on board is dominated by a casual atmosphere. On the tradition end, we get dignitaries like Mardi Gras' godmother, Miss Dominican Republic Kimberly Jiménez, and our own Chief Fun Officer Shaq to help make sure the champagne bottle gets broken just right for good luck. Carnival Cruise Line arranges short, lively events called Carnival theme parties that are led by the Carnival Cruise director and staff, lasting 30 to 50 minutes. Carnival Cruise theme parties are held at different locations such as the main pool deck or atrium in the evenings.
